Information is collected directly from you via online intake forms, telehealth sessions, email, phone, or through the secure practice management system Zanda. With your consent, information may also be collected from referring health professionals.

Client information is stored securely using Zanda, an Australian-based, secure practice management system designed for health professionals. Zanda uses industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure servers.

Access to client records is restricted to authorised persons only. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure electronic and administrative safeguards are maintained.
Client records are retained for the period required by law and professional guidelines.
Telehealth and Electronic Communication
Telehealth sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing systems integrated with Zanda or other secure platforms.
While reasonable steps are taken to protect your privacy, electronic communication and telehealth services carry some inherent risks. By engaging in telehealth services, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
You are encouraged to attend sessions in a private space and to use secure internet connections where possible.
Access to Your Information
You have the right to request access to your personal information and to request corrections if information is inaccurate or incomplete.
Requests for access or correction should be made in writing and will be responded to within a reasonable timeframe, unless access is restricted by law.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how your privacy has been handled, you are encouraged to raise this directly with Living Within Psychology so the matter can be addressed promptly.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
